Terms of Service for EventMate
These Terms govern the use of the SaaS service EventMate between us (service provider, see imprint) and consumers (B2C). The contract language is German.
EventMate offers:
- Management of events on Discord servers
- Automatic registration/deregistration functions
- User registration via Discord
- Web interface for configuration
Feature scope may vary by plan.
A valid Discord account is required. Minimum age per Discord for Germany: 16 years.
Prices
- Monthly: €9.99 per month
- Yearly: €99.00 per 12 months
We are a small business under § 19 UStG; all amounts are final prices without VAT. Prices may be adjusted in the future; we will inform you before changes take effect.
Billing & Renewal
The billing cycle begins with contract conclusion; the term automatically renews for the respective period unless cancelled in time.
Trial
7-day trial period; cancellable at any time during the trial.
Discounts/Promotions
Available periodically; details are announced in the ordering process/Discord.
Referral program
Anyone who refers another user through their invite link receives a credit worth one monthly fee (€9.99) for that user's first paid Pro subscription. The credit is granted 14 days after the referred user's first payment, is deducted from the referrer's next invoice and is not paid out. It applies only to new Pro customers on servers without a previous paid subscription, lapses if the payment is refunded or charged back, and is limited to 12 credits within 12 months. Self-referral is excluded; credits may be refused in cases of abuse. We may change or end the program at any time with effect for the future; credits already earned remain valid.
Payment processing via Stripe. Accepted methods depend on Stripe/region. Payment is due immediately at the beginning of each period. In case of payment default, access may be suspended until the balance is settled.
Monthly/yearly subscription with automatic renewal. Cancellation deadline: before the end of the period via the provided cancellation channels (Account/Support). After cancellation, access continues until the end of the period, then ends automatically.
Target availability 99% monthly average (excluding force majeure/network provider/Discord outages). Maintenance windows are announced in advance on Discord. Support hours are available on Discord.
Support Discord Server:
Upon request, we provide available data in a common format. After contract end, we delete actively processed data, unless statutory retention obligations exist. Backups: Rolling backups with 14-day retention; then overwritten/deleted.
Customers retain rights to their own content. You grant us a simple, term-limited license to process content and metadata for the purpose of service delivery, security, debugging, and backups. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage statistics for product improvement.
Prohibited activities include:
- Legal violations, spam, harassment
- System attacks
- Unauthorized automation/scraping
- Reverse engineering
- Circumvention of security mechanisms
- Abuse of API/rate limits
Accounts and API keys must be kept confidential; account sharing is prohibited.

For consumers, §§ 327 ff. BGB (digital products) apply. We provide necessary security and functionality updates as required for contract fulfillment.
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for damages from injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. In case of simple negligence, we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation); in that case, liability is limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage.
We may adjust terms/services if there is a valid reason (e.g., legal changes, security requirements, product development) and the contractual balance is maintained. We will inform about changes at least 30 days before they take effect via Discord/website. If the user does not object by the effective date, the changes are deemed accepted. For material adverse changes, a special termination right exists.
German law applies. For consumers, the statutory jurisdictions apply.
EventMate is a digital service (SaaS). Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from contract conclusion. Service begins immediately after payment. By ordering, you expressly request immediate commencement and acknowledge that withdrawal will result in value compensation for the time already used, and the right of withdrawal expires upon full service delivery (§§ 356(4), 357a(2) BGB).
Calculation & Payout: Value compensation is calculated proportionally by calendar days; refund = price minus value compensation; payout within 14 days via the same payment method.

The following form is provided by law, if a right of withdrawal exists and has not already expired. You may use it or declare the withdrawal informally (e.g., by email).
